We had conversation jumping between us, as Jackie, John, and I took a warm twilight run over to Aldgate and the Brady Arts and Community Centre.

This summer's general election had just been announced and we chewed the fat, alongside catching up on each other's weeks.

Our task - one piece of our long-term project to transform a community room at the centre - was to paint the radiator. Over 40 minutes, we painted and shared stories, and we finished with the sun starting to dip behind the City's skyscrapers.
