An 8am mission on my day off seemed a foolish thing to do, as I left the house earlier than I would for work to cycle to Mr A’s. Watt had I signed myself up for?!

The task at hand was to top up his electricity key, something I had never done before. I arrived, Mr A handed over the key and the money, and also made a request for some milk. He advised the shops across the road for the job, so off I whizzed.

It looked like everything was shut up - all the shutters were down, but the Spar was open. In I went, milk collected and had a little chat with the nice shop man. Told him I was here to top up an electricity key, and he took it from me, and seconds later returned it with a receipt to say it was now loaded. Easy key-see!

Back to Mr A’s to hand it back over, and job done. I cycled home, sparked my bike and contemplated getting back to bed. The mission was completed, quick as a flash.
