When our friends at the Hammersmith and Fulham branch of Age UK asked for help at a party recognising the work of their amazing volunteers, GoodGym H&F were happy to step up to the mark.

Across the evening our red t-shirted team served food and drinks, tidied away and did the washing up. This meant the Age UK volunteers could have an evening off and enjoy the celebrations 🎉🍾.

Alongside awards to the Age UK volunteers, we received a thank you gift presented by radio presenter, Toby Anstis, himself a local Age UK 'befriender'. In true GoodGym fashion, Lucy got in some bonus fitness work as she squatted with the thank you card and glass of wine (to ensure she was balanced!).

We received lots of thank yous from the departing guests and we too headed home loaded with leftovers of the delicious homecooked food 😋.
