Met at Hainaut Station, joining forces with a lovely group of people and soon started mucking in. At first we put Hebe, Cyclamen, and Ivy in planters in and around the Station entrance. The area already looks better already for having this bit of greenery and when the bulbs we also planted come through it will add a great splash of colour. Hats off to this varied group of people from the really helpful Scouts to the local Councillor and even the Mayor who all got their hands dirty. The Fairlop Ward Councillor was very interested in hearing about GoodGym and is thinking of putting more missions our way. Our own Julia was very involved keeping everyone organised, planting and making sure everyone had tea and cake at the end. We were even given some left over bulbs to use in another community space...maybe another mission coming up.
