Mr. D is an 85 year old man who wants to learn how to send email and use the internet. How cool is that!

We started with learning how to switch on/off the tablet and basic controls (including changing settings like Display=Large). [on a side note, we don't realise just how complex these devices can be for someone who's never touched a screen before.]

The cover of the tablet has an in-built keyboard which was probably the better option to begin with. With one finger he typed and we sent his first email - Yay!

Through the hour, he told me his life stories and how he has written many children stories. We discussed his impressive trophies from playing 'Crib', a card game. While heading to the door, he also showed me an old photo of his large family.

I can safely say whether Mr. D will use his tablet much or not, he certainly wouldn't mind another visit from a GoodGymer soon :)
