Pear today Gone tomorrow

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

It was Round 2 for Gosia and I who were back to bag up more garden waste for Mr B.

This has been a multi-mission as we are limited by the size of the bin that awaits collection. Last week’s runners had done a great job and we could already see such a difference from the last time we were here.

We had to scoop up the garden waste from the back garden and take it to the front to put in the bins ready for the council to collect tomorrow.

This evening we mostly contended with branches, brambles and pears. Mr B even helped us out and was involved with breaking down the bigger branches. There were a few thorns to be weary of - doubling up on the gardening gloves definitely helped!

Another visit and fingers crossed Mr B’s garden will be back in order.
