Here's what Ms B of BS4 had to say about the mission:

The girls were so lovely and cheerful despite the cold weather. I really appreciate the help.

Ms B of BS4, mission beneficiary

Today, Sarah, Zdeni and I climbed the mountains of BS4 and headed to Mrs B's house to help treat her fence with special oil. It looked a lot like custard but we didnt taste it to check so maybe it was?

It was a chilly afternoon but we quickly got to work with Mrs B's help and moved our away along the fence nattering as we went, contemplating the jingle of a nearby ice cream van and desperately tried not to splatter the floor and eachother with the decking oil (or custard).

Half way through we were rewarded with a lovely cup of tea before diving into the bushes to get to the hard to reach fence posts . After a bit more chatting and cleaning of our brushes we headed off on our merry well all celebrating that it was downhill all the way home!

Well done, all. Not sure I would have been able to resist the ice cream van, myself!
