We were back at the allotment tonight for the first time since Christmas. It was really good to be back!

Before we got started on our task, we did our fitness session. We had a little warm up. I can remember laughing a lot as we did it but I can’t for the life of me remember what we laughed about!

We had two groups tonight. Emily, Maurice & Nigel enjoyed the walking route with Emily leading and Claire, Karen & Nicola did a 3K run. It was a nice dry night and it was nice to be out together enjoying our chatty run and walk.

Back at the allotment, we set to work tidying up the raised beds. We planted some red onions, harvested some carrots and potatoes and collected a good few bags of weeds from the beds. We also raked the leaves and had a general tidy up as best we could with the low level of light.

It was a pleasure to catch up with everyone again and it’s always good to be back at the Wishing Well.

The evening ended on a high with a tub of Cadbury’s heroes shared out between us!!

Well done team – another successful evening. Loved being with you as always!
