On the front line

There's always plenty to do during the lunch service at Ace of Clubs and today was no exception. Despite it being some time since helping out at a session here, everything soon came flooding back. The front desk provided a steady flow of guests until second helpings were made available. At which point the line was out the door.

Ace of Clubs provides support for homeless and vulnerable people in the Clapham area. Volunteers are allocated a range of tasks, from making tea/coffee and handing out groceries to manning the desk and filing the post.
