Today we were back at Harbottle park to remove the rest of the little fences which we had been battling with 3 weeks ago. There were fewer of us today and we again lost the triple Aimee/Amy contingent from yesterday (they are also all Amy/Aimee B's, what are the odds).

With fewer people to tackle the same amount of fence we had to work smart, not hard. Last time we tried this it was a veritable cross fit session, straining all the muscles, to yank the fences out, roll them up and pop them in the van. Today, we used our biggest muscle; the brain.

We pulled out enough fence to attach to the van, then let the van do all the hard work. It was glorious, an industrial revolution. What used to take 30 minutes of laborious work was reduced to just 5 minutes of hard work followed by watching a van liberate the fence from its home.

The time the van saved was used for a tea break, Mike had returned the dog licked biscuits from yesterday for a treat he enjoyed by himself. We stuck to the fig rolls.

As always, we met lots of dogs in the park today, including proper chonkster of dog who was a perfect cube, had only one eye and preferred men.
