Mrs G gave us a very warm welcome and seemed pleased to meet three new Goodgymmers, after the friendly faces from past missions and visits. Her canine companion also came to greet us and was a bundle of joy, waddling circles around us and wagging its tail so enthusiastically it was about to take off. After a lovely little chat we embarked on a digging and sorting exercise through Mrs G's cupboard, which was overflowing with more or less useful things and full of surprises. Our host was glad to rediscover her forgotten or lost possessions, and we accumulated a sizeable pile of stuff for the charity shop. A highlight of the mission was the discovery of a dancing ostrich, the music of which got Mrs G to tap to the tune. After finishing the clearing out and clearing up, Mrs G was over the moon and already looking forward to the next time Goodgym would come to visit and lend a hand.
