Mission

Nothing tickled Mr. A's fancy

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Sunny Saturday (7.6k) run towards the city centre was delightful. It was still warming up and not quite hot yet and the roads were starting to get busy.

I arrived at Mr. A's place at quarter to 1 (15 minutes early). I buzzed the intercom to let him know I was here to assist him. However, he told me he didn't need assistance as someone had already done his shopping. I still came through the building to talk to him from outside his door as I wanted to be sure; if he really didn't need my assistance or not. Yet, during that convo, he probably realised I ran a long way and thus, asked me to check the shops.

Luckily, there was a local Sainsbury's around the corner and I promptly checked the frozen section for ready meals (as he asked), but upon calling him nothing tickled his fancy. So I left it at that and ran back to Peckham. A bit annoying and I'll be sure to call beforehand in future missions.
