Southwark

Mission

No Place Like Home

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Miranda and I answered the call for a couple of pairs of hands this evening to help make space for a hospital bed in Mrs J and Mr R's house. Mrs J is sadly very unwell and wished to spend her last few days at home, where she could be with her husband. We had no difficulty in moving a bed from one room to another, and we were glad to be able to help in this small way.

The heart’s dearest solace will smile on me there"

Great work Hilary and Miranda, a really lovely mission to help out with in a small but really big way.

Bless you, Hilary and Miranda, for your kind hearts. Sometimes a really simple task makes a profound difference.

You put your hands up so fast to do this task - well done Hilary and Miranda - - and what an impact you had on this couple's last few days together.
