This week's group run took us to one of our favourite organisations, Bournemouth Foodbank. And it was probably the last time we see them at this nearby location as they are moving to a bigger warehouse at the end of the month. It's great news as they are doing great work and it's nice to see them expand and be able to help more people....on the flip side...it's a shame that there is a need for the Foodbank, and that there are so many people living in crisis in Bournemouth...we're happy to help of course.

Well done Sarah for not being frightened away by last weeks long run, and for joining us as a member too, your t-shirt should be with you really soon!

The beautiful weather brought lots of smiling faces out this evening. It was great to welcome back Dan who had been traveling and seeing south east Asia. Well done on your first run in 5 months!

We were also grateful that Millie had a break in her Yoga classes and was able to join us again!

It was Beth's first time to GoodGym after finding us by chance! Thank god that we pop up in Water Sports searches!!! Well done Beth, for a "non-runner" you were brilliant, made it look easy and are great fun to be around too! See you next week!!!

We also welcomed David, who had been to a group run in Lewisham before, who brought lots of energy and fitted straight into the group! Shame you'll be in London next week...we'll miss you!

When we arrived at the Foodbank, Ed the task organiser, had us form a human chain and fill up one of their mini vans to help with the move to the new warehouse. With Millie and her German engineering skills arranging crates into the van we were in good hands. The rest of us made a human chain that was easily 30m long...epic! Sarah was the leader on the other end, making sure we we didn't have to wait too long for another crate to be passed along. We are all going to have massive triceps tomorrow!!!

Daryl and Caprice used their experience to rearrange produce from one shelf to another and Dan and Lee were tasked with packing crates with invaluable toiletries.

We filled the van in record time and had time to to do some extra work! Ed was amazed!

Well done all of you for coming along! And well done to Abi, Caprice, Neil and Andrea who ran races last Sunday and still managed to come along! Thank you for Caprice and Daryl for back-marking and for Lee and his photography skills!

Next week we are just up the road at St Michael's School for our shortest run of about 750m one way...but we'll do a core workout to make up for it! Don't miss out!!
