GoodGym Bristol headed back to Arnos Court park to help shift a big pile of mulch from the top of the park to the community garden at the bottom. We met at the Folk House to head out along the Avon to Arnos Court. Chris managed to forget his trainers so Kim led the run before we all met up by Temple Meads. It was a glorious evening perfect for running and we set a really good pace, with Sarah and Matt leading the way. At the park we got stuck into the task, which involved loading up wheel barrows full of mulch at the top of the hill, running them down the hill to the garden and then running the barrows back to the pile at the top of the hill. A great workout in the heat! We got loads done, filling most of the beds with mulch. We even managed to find 6 small wrinkly potatoes, and find time for Kim and Kate play on the zip wire! We retraced our steps back to Park Street - even putting in a bit of a sprint finish, - completing a great run of 8k and really good task. The next GoodGym Bristol run will be on Wednesday 26th June, meeting at 6.30 at the Folk House on Park Street.
