May arrived with a bang today. A couple of prescription pickups in various pharmacies in Headington were collected and delivered to the thankful recipients with a good cycle round trip from home up to Headington and then around to Barton. Thankfully, there was a break in the rain showers...

From Barton, it was a round trip to shop for essential food and nappies for a young family (this was the first time I have ever bought nappies...) who were appreciative and had bags ready for me to use so not to use any extra plastic bags!

Tomorrow morning, an elderly relative is likely to need her weekend newspapers and some food picking up so I will add that in tomorrow morning.

Today also included receiving several more referrals for the phone link pod so will pair them up with a volunteer over the weekend so that they can get their regular phone calls to stave off isolation at this time.
