Mission

Mattress-less

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

It was strange being in a tower block with the same layout as four others I know in Bristol, but this one was hiding Mr M behind his door, behind a huge mattress blocking him in.

With the help of a trusty leather belt (handmade in France), we were able to drag the mattress onto its side and out of the flat, to then find out there were also the pair of divan bases to shift and another sneaky mattress.

Thankfully there was a lift and a couple of trips had all the bed bits and GoodGymmers on the ground floor, angling for the refuse area.

We’re fairly sure we re-housed some mites to the refuse area, too, but Mr M was really pleased to have his floor space back as well as his handmade belt.
