Making scents of the toiletries!

3 Goodgymers returned to help LWS Night Shelter with more sorting of donations.

It was a three pronged attack: - Nigel got to work dating some rogue tins of fish and rice pudding that had been hiding at the back of one of the storage units - Katherine was key removals person shifting pre-sorted crates between storage units to get similar items together in the same location - Laura was the real star of the show as she tried to find some order in the chaos that was miscellaneous toiletries!

We started off easy with splitting the multiple crates of mixed deodorant into male and female (although even that was a challenge at times with Lynx throwing a spanner in the works as they now apparently do female deodorant too - who knew!)

Next it was the true mixed donations which Laura managed to successfully divide into: - Gift sets - Hair items (hair gel, combs, hair bands, clips) - Moisturising lotions - Face items (creams, wipes, washes) - Bath items (including sponges and bubble bath) - Hand wash (and soap, including nail brushes) - Lip balms and nail files - Baby wipes - Sanitary products

Phew! What a lot of sorting and it was lovely to have Laura's honed sorting skills developed over numerous other GoodGym tasks to speed things along :-)
