Loo Gotta Roll With It

After a week hiatus from my babe Mrs J (thanks for making sure she had her galaxy supply for the week Beth 🤎), I was back.

However, V (Mrs J’s daughter) had different plans this week. There were a few cheeky changes. But I’m a strong and resilient character, I’ve survived a pandemic after all, so I took it in my stride…

Daily Mail, potatoes, oh, no prawn cocktail this week? Still got our mousses, our custard tarts, spaghetti hoops and bread. The French fancies were back after a long break, as was soap and toilet paper. I went down the final aisle, and remembered that choc ices weren’t on the shop! Maybe Mrs J had stocked up on her fave frozen treat during the heatwave, as V said she had plenty!

Last but not least, in went a packet of biros, before paying up. Down the hill I whizzed to Mrs J’s, to find her waiting on the doorstep for me! I admit I was slightly later than normal (parkrun was back, sorry not sorry), but she was in good spirits. In true Mrs J style, she ran back inside before taking her shopping and thrust a bar of galaxy into my hands… ‘you must take this, or I’ll be annoyed’. I tried my hardest to say no, but even not having a bag wasn’t an excuse, a pocket would be fine, she said!
