A throwback to Lockdown 1 as a treasure hunt based training session returns for 2021!

Some wonderful entries from everyone, there are so many interesting things to see and appreciate around us that we sometimes forget to look while going about our daily business. Well done everyone for such brilliant photos.

Nicola (and mini-GGer Amelia) got out and compiled the following pics...

Red - Malteasers from the shop we started at

R - Remembrance Garden

U - Unicorn on Amelias scooter I ended up carrying

N - National Lottery sign

Street Name - Treaty Road (Amelia said they get lots of treats

Sign with an Animal - Vets

Arrow - roundabout sign

Triangle - fencing around the gym equipment

Circle - Centre of the sports Court

Plant - only plants we could find outside the Council Building

Creature - Amelia 😂 (my creature - we didn't see anything else )

Flag - Union Jack

Building - Glenfield Memorial Hall

Number - 15 on the street lamp

Something to make you smile - the park makes Amelia smile

Finally... A very rainy selfie.

Creature - eagle on All saints gateway

Flag - American

Building - Train shed

Something that makes a smile - cat

Jimmy has clearly been working on his tech wizardry skills during the pandemic and beautifully labelled up his pictures with the categories - top work!

Bravo to both entries from our GG Tourists, Pauline from GG Liverpool and Sharon from GG Barnsley who completed the challenge and submitted on one wonderful collage each - fantastic pics and extra marks for presentation!

Pauline added the detail to complement the collage...

The plant is a moss, the interesting street name marks the site of the 1905 Victoria Memorial Hospital, known locally as The Cottage Hospital, the thing that makes me smile is the large wall mural.

R: Runcorn Bridge, behind a Row of Roofs

U: Undertakers/Underpass

N: NatWest/Nurse

...and, of course in the centre pic...RUN!

The others are quite obvious (if small).

Great work also from Mel (and Dave) and Jen for wonderful sets of pictures.

My favourite individual pictures from the whole bunch are the social distancing crocodile, Sharon's sign with what appears to be a cowboy or mountie on horseback and Jimmy's similar one with additional detail, Treaty Road because Amelia's comment made me laugh and also ALL of your smiling selfies, NHS pics and the stunning flora and fauna pictures.

And because I promised to pick a winner, even though I want to give you all the win for getting out in cold, miserable Jannuary lockdown, the winner of this challenge is...Jimmy!

Amazing work everyone, going through the pictures and stories has cheered me up on a day when I'm stuck in the house so thank you all for that!

Finally, sorry for the delay in compiling the report, busy week and a busier one ahead so squeezing in this report on the one day off in 14!

Stay safe, HD
