Today session started at 12.30pm and finished at 2.30pm. However the food donation delivery did not arrive until 2pm, while we waited for the delivery we searched for jobs to do. However when the delivery arrived the whole team (6 volunteers) went flat out to sort and pack the shelves it was like a 400 metre sprint, and everyone got a PB as we crossed the finish line/packed the shelves and cleanrd up. Great session.
This task supported
The food cooperative provides members with low cost food to help reduce food bills and tackle food insecurity. It also reuses surplus food to prevent food being thrown away.
