Saturday sunny afternoon and I arrived at Mr R house to do more work on his garden. Last session it looked like the Amazon Forrest as the brambles and weed took over the massive garden, but also includes the foxes as they probably consider this their playground. No foxes today. Will this look like Kew Garden when all is finished? I started to cut the massive brambles around the tree and pulling out the roots. Dead grass and other weeds removed. Could start seeing the soil now and was watched by someone who probably spotted worm meals in the garden. Yes - along came 2 robins who started getting closer and started to dine in the freshly opened space. While I was pulling grass and brambles, noticed something moving but could not see what it was but eventually spotted a toad/frog near me.I moved it towards the back in order for it not to be harmed. You can now clearly see the tree and I saw 3 snails each other : looked like a family as 2 big snails and a baby one(see picture). Also found loads of tennis balls and a football: apparently from the neighbors son. End of mission and filled a big green bin for Mr R. He was very thankful as his garden is starting to take shape and accessible for him. Kew Garden in view!!
