A lovely Monday evening and James and I met at the station for some community planter care. I brought a new watering can, which is the biggest one we have now! I also brought petunia flowers so we can continue adding colour to this depressing corner of the neighbourhood:)

James started filling in the watering cans, whilst I did a litter sweep - to my surprise there was hardly any litter, the station cleaner must've cleaned them earlier in the day - legend!

Despite the rain we've had in the last week, the planters were bone dry and were in desperate need of watering from the top and filling of the reserves. James and I had a good arm workout!

We also planted 15 lovely petunias throughout the planters and also put in some plant food to provide nutrients. Hopefully they will flourish in a week or two! We did discover that someone pulled out a couple of plants (why?!) but overall the planters are looking good, though a few could do with a total revamp (which we will be doing on the 2nd August! You can sign up here - only 3 spaces left:)).

As we were abandoned by our fellow goodgymmers, it took us a while to get all the jobs done so we called it an early night!

P.S. Neither of us thought to take any photos so I'm reusing some previous ones of the planters!:)

I was going to take a picture of the watering cans, but seemed a little odd
