Clo and I braved the summery stormy rain and winds that solidified the end (or beginning ) of the typical British Summer Holidays to be pleasantly greeted by our mission host, her 2 cats and a wolf whistling budgie! We were disappointed that the budgie didn't wolf whistle at us, as apparently he whistles at every female who comes into the house, but I guess not us!

Low and behold, we came and faced our arch nemisis, "el bramble-o", or as we called it THE MONSTER!!!

We were geared with shears, a machete too to hack away and the area of the back garden, and for what seemed like an endless amount of stinging brambles to us, we saw ground and tidied up old plant pots, a wheelbarrow, bins that did not belong to and a suspiciously looking table and bin that was hidden away!

The entire time we were there, one of the lovely cats, Jet kept her eye on us as we engulfed on her playground!

At the end of the mission, Miss C came to have a look and was delighted to be seeing her garden once again, and shared with us the blackberries and grapes that grew from her area.
