The weekly shopping drop this week included a few extra items for Ms M and Mrs J!
Ms M had been sharing her unexpected enjoyment for some recent pop songs over the past few weeks during our coach sessions. She particularly enjoys a certain rapper with eye tattoos 'always tired', and we've laughed many a time over her similarity to always being fatigued being the reason she likes this artists music!
We originally planned to make a mix tape for Ms M's CD player, however, trying to burn a CD on my old laptop came to no avail (other than sounding like a small plane was ready to take off!) - instead, we took advantage of Ms M's portable USB reader, adding all of Ms M's favourite tunes to a memory stick, which worked a treat! Not only was it such fun to talk about what music means to us both, resulting in heaps of interesting conversation, but Ms M was delighted to take her favorutie tunes for a bath, and continue listening into bed, making another week in self-isolation a bit more groovy! What a legend!
Mrs J had a slightly less interesting drop, but still a very important one. In need of some spare clothes due to an unfortunate leak, we cobbled together some very jazzy & inaccurately seasoned PJ's in addition to some nice warm and dry tops and dressing gowns. For Mrs J's weekly shop, her sweet little dog was again (always!) top of the list but was wonderful to see Mrs J request for some non-essential comforts for herself too this week.
Three happy customers, and one happy runner! Fingers crossed the sun is still shining for next weeks adventure!
