Of course it's not a race, but there was something strangely satisfying about getting round Mr T's local Lidl in what felt like record time today - even if I did two extra laps of one aisle in search of a pack of kitchen towels...(so clearly there's room for even more improvement, and we're definitely not in marginal gains territory quite yet).

I can only think the Friday afternoon sunshine was keeping the lunchtime crowds away, but whatever it was, I was very grateful...as was Mr T when I returned in double quick time with his treasure.
