Georgeta and Sheila made a return visit to Mr C, this time the weather was much more agreeable and we were able to tackle Mr C's overgrown lawns. Georgeta warmed up by mowing the sloping front lawn whilst Sheila tackled the brambles threatening to invade the window. One dumpy bag later, we moved into the much larger back garden, and Georgeta worked her mowing magic again. What a transformation! Sheila tackled the large tufts of grass growing between the paving slabs in the patio, presenting a trip hazard. Mr C said he felt guilty watching us do all the work, so he decided to join in too. Afterwards he said how good he felt that he could contribute to the effort -it had been much too daunting to tackle on his own. He got quite emotional about what a difference the mission had made to to the garden and his outlook. He is such a lovely man and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to help him out. We would like to have a return visit to tackle the hedging in the back garden and leave it all trim for the winter

It was so nice to see Mr C's reaction to the much neater garden! And thank you, Sheila, for doing your bit magic, once again! 🪄✨
