Improving common ground

1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Bexley.

One goodgymer joined several volunteers who together dug in a number of donated plants and then spread woodchip in a community garden in front of St Paul's church, a dual Anglican/Catholic church in Thamesmead. Today's session marks a year since it was originally planted in a scrap of grass lawn; now there are two large beds and some wooden benches for all to enjoy. A future project will see the creation of a raised bed in the car park.
