It was a very cold day for a cycle to the SHP Allotments, we soon found out we were ill equipped for winter cycling and almost aborted mission but GGers are made of stern stuff and we soldiered on. There is not much needs doing this time of year which is fortunate as gardening is tough when your fingers are icicles. We did manage to size up another plot for Ed to build a border around and reported a fly-tipped mattress to the council before bailing and taking a cycle sprint to Barking Cafe for a warming cuppa.

Note to self…get some thermal cycle gloves. Note to James…get some long trousers.
