Ice, Rice, Baby

My second week of helping out the Sunday Best Team with their hot dinner deliveries. Having been at the rugby during the day, which had gone into extra time, I had to drive straight to Battersea for my hot meal pick-ups.

The hall smelt amazing again, and the team handed me over my deliveries - four adult portions of some sort of deliciously spicy chicken and rice, and one child’s size.

Luckily the three addresses for my deliveries were the same three as last week - so I knew exactly where to go! Having parked up at the Youth Centre, I walked across to Ms D’s to deliver the first hot dinners. Then it was back to the car and a whizz along the road to Wandsworth to drop off the final three.

Unfortunately, it was really really quite cold outside, so despite the luxury of having an in-car heating system as opposed to the open air bike backpack, the meals weren’t quite as hot as they had been. The reciprocators didn’t seem to mind though, and thanked me for their dinner deliveries again!
