Goodgym BATH and BRIZZLE joined forces for a 5k run up n down to Bath City Farm to shift some manure up to a trench around the newly planted willow canopy.

50-50 SPLIT

An even divide of fabulous people from each amazing city but it was noted that the Bristol troupes were keen to sit in the shiny new wheel barrows (Paul certainly missed out today) and let Bath do the hard push. Steph was calling out to a scare row on arrival thinking it was our host Mark, Clo soon pointed out her mistake and the fact he wasn't moving was s dead give away.

NEW LAMBS

How exciting to find on that one of the ewes had given birth to twins just hours earlier, so priority was to make seeing the lambs our first port of call before getting DOWN N DIRTY!!

THE TASK

Our task was to shift manure up to fill a trench around a newly planted willow canopy and it took 16 barrows fully laden with the mucky stuff to complete the task.

SITTING DOWN ON THE JOB

Emma was sitting down on the job at one point right in the thick of it. Clo was called away by Mark for a mission of mercy involving a duck with a poorly eye but she did s grand job holding Donald and i don't mean TRUMP. A chance for Rich and Jenni to do some tricep work using the manure as their weighty workout, after all it did need lifting.

IT's A DUNG DEAL

The group were rewarded with doughnuts and a cuppa after all their efforts for giving up some precious time on a Sunday morning. Mary managed to avoid licking her lips to take the doughnut challenge by storm.

WHERE THERE'S A HILL

Unfortunately the only way back was up but in true country style we took it in our stride.

Thanks to MARY for today's tip top pun and Jenni for a bit of Goodgym touristing today.

We will be going back on May 27th to see the new kids on the block, so keep your eyes peeled.

I started running at 34 & not looked back running from 5k to Ultra. I enjoy seeing people achieve their goals.
