Yesterday, I received a short list of some essentials for Mr N , who has just come out of hospital. After calling Mr N to check what sort of milk he drinks and what type of bread he eats, I hit the supermarket and collected his shopping.

This morning, I cycled over to Mr N's. He was waiting at the window and gave me huge thumbs up as I pulled up across the road from his flat. That, along with the little girl banging on her window to show the binnmen her thank-you rainbow, has made my day get off to a smiley start.
