Did a large shop for an elderly neighbour living in the high-rise Plowman Tower in Northway. Managed to get everything and should be enough for 2-3 weeks but they will contact me if they need more.

Rang around a couple more referrals to see if they needed anything. One had a surprise hamper of food from their grandchildren so thankfully will be more than satisfied with food until the end of the week. Another referral is okay for a few days too.

Although not a separate good deed, I am also involved as a phone link pod leader to arrange for isolated elderly people to be matched up to the fantastic phone link volunteers so they get regular phone calls to chat and see how they are. Seeing the responses from the phone calls is really heartening to see and I am involved or on hand to give advice and help with problems or to connect the volunteers to the Oxford Hub for more advice if necessary. This is ongoing.
