Heavy lifting and flowers
3 GoodGymers made their way 2.9km to help the Hainault in Bloom in Redbridge.

Monday evening was so lovely - the sun has come out after intermittent rain all day and we all assembled at the Hainault station. Linda walked by with Max, a newly sheared doggy, to say hello, which was lovely!
As usual, we started filling in the watering cans at the station's men's toilets (oh the glamour!) and we appreciated a new (but heavy) watering can that holds a lot more water and requires fewer trips to fill! With three of us it was still a big job (it would've been nice to have one or two more goodgymmers:)) but we managed to get the whole thing done in 45minutes and despite many attempts, Helen did not flood the bathroom so we were able to mop up and clean up quickly:)
Whilst picking out litter from the planters, we also noticed that some bad individual pulled out two beautiful flowers (grrr) so we replanted those with some spares as this kind of behaviour happens every now and then!
Helen had a longer commute back so she was on her way back whilst James and Julia then went for a brisk half-hour walk in the fields discussing all things fantasy books (Julia is still not convinced to try this genre...;))
We failed the photo taking situation but James managed a couple of 'action' shots!
Overall a nice way to finish Monday!
