Kingston Police have run the Christmas Tree project for a few years now and this year they have yet again been overwhelmed by the kindness of the people of Kingston who have donated presents for over 230 children across the borough.

The start of a series of missions, today’s job was to sort through the donations and ensure that they were all age appropriate for the children and remove any edible items (I promise I didn’t eat them all!!)

We then started to put all the presents in Christmas bags and label them ready for the next mission which will involve grouping them for each of the local social workers to collect.

It’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!
