Great British Geology

Ms J and I had a lovely catch-up after missing out a week due to illness (mine not hers thankfully). We discussed all our favourite topics - animals, history, current world affairs and weather.

Then we got into an interesting discussion on the geology of Britain, sparked by a one-day lecture series I'd attended in Oxford couple of years ago that I remembered out of the blue. She's always curious to learn something new and this was a topic that certainly interested her. I need to think back and remember more interesting facts from those lectures for her next time!
