Today two York GoodGymmers ran to help Mr G get one step closer to coming home from hospital.

Mr G has been in hospital for a few months and is ready to come home and finish recovering with his wife. So that he could do so safely and comfortably, GoodGym were asked to move some furniture to make space for a hospital bed.

Abi and I arrived from different directions (me a little confused having had to help a man out of the Foss en route), and met Mrs G. A fair bit of the task had been tackled already, but there were a couple of big awkward items of furniture that we brought to the driveway ready for collection.

Having finished in good time, we had a quick chat with Mrs G before a riverside walk back to down (during which we encountered some tadpoles and multiple gorgeous goose families).
