Gone with the Wind

I arrived a little early to do some shopping today for Mr R and he’d not quite finished his shopping list, so whilst he was finishing off that, he was grateful for my suggestion that I pull up a few weeds in his front garden as well as clear away the palm leaves that had fallen with the high winds on Tuesday.

In fact it had been so windy that the small palm tree had almost toppled over causing a safety risk and so we chatted about setting up another mission to cut this down and trim back a bush that is obstructing the path to the front door.

Once Mr R had finished his list, I headed off to Aldi and Iceland as usual to pick up his weekly shopping and found some bargains for him resulting in everything coming in just under a tenner, which was quite remarkable, resulting in a very happy Mr R!
