Gone with the Meds

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Such a windy afternoon running from Honor Oak down towards Morrisons in Peckham. I left straight after work as I wanted to get there before the evening shoppers and everything went without a hitch - no queuing outside the supermarket and no queue at the pharmacy. Yet, it was to be expected that I'll be transporting three bags of meds for Mr. J and Mrs. J. Noticing I couldn't run with these bags I decided to walk the 15 minute walk to their home. After a brisk and steady walk, I arrived at their address and delivered the long-needed medication to Mrs. J, who briefly came out to chat to me.

On the way back, I was stopped by Emily McGovern who was chasing me down in her jeans, bless her. It was great to chat with a familiar face 😊 oh, how I'm longing for a group run!
