For a second Saturday in a row, GoodGym came to help out Peckham Town FC with cleaning up the vandalism that happened a few weeks' ago. Unfortunately, a bit more was added as a few of them came back during the week to have a "light" session (or at least, lighter than last time).

However, first thing first, today we had a new GoodGymer. Mike joined us for his first GoodGym mission as he heard about GoodGym from his partner's friend. He got stuck in with the litter picking claiming a litter picker and taking a bin bag to start bagging all the rubbish that was left along the road entering the training ground. Eleanor joined him whilst Karen and Ian teamed up for a bit.

After two hours of litter picking (scanning for treasures on the training ground, behind the clubhouse and parking area), chatting and melting away in the humid heat; we managed to bag countless bags of litter. Duncan, the Club Development Coordinator, was super impressed with our efforts and how we wanted to get stuck in for a second week in a row!

Thanks all for coming out and helping with the effort! I really hope you'd enjoyed the session and I'll see you on another mission sometime soon! 😊
