Mrs M's largely familiar list contained one stand out item today, in that she was clear she only wanted a green heart cabbage (and not a white, or other coloured one). Not being the resident expert on types of cabbage, I did have to resort to the phone to find out which of the exotically named variants that were available on the shelves of the world's politest supermarket would give Mrs M what she wanted on the cabbage front - I can only hope I made the right choice...
