After collecting donations for a few weeks since the last drop off, it was time to do a run to the foodbank again.

Earlier this week I arranged with Martel to do a couple of other pick-ups en route which was all good but yesterday evening another last-minute collection was needed.... at one of the local fish & chip shops. I went along and filled the boot with a whole load of donations but then was surprised with a personal donation of some free sausages and chips! Bonus! i think it may have helped that I went along at closing time... (thanks Batterfry on Tudor Drive , very tasty indeed #shamelessplug)

With the car loaded this morning I headed to the URC Church in Tolworth, picking up at a couple of collection points on the way. It was like a military operation at the church - half a dozen volunteers unpacking, sorting and boxing... amazing to see that so many donations have been made.

On the way home another last-minute collection came through so I took a slight detour to pick up and then drop off at the church again. Mission accomplished.
