Funyuns (Fun with Onions...)

Wednesday nights and Salvation Army Nunhead comes calling for volunteers.

Today, there was no veggie peeling, but I had to go to the top floor and sort out two rooms as they needed clearing out and all the donated clothes be taken to the loft to be stored away for probably decades!! Maybe when the fashion comes back for these clothes again.

After sorting out and clearing out the two rooms, there was enough time to chop the veggies they had prepared for tomorrow's lunch. I proceeded to chop the Swedes and the onions... Taking me over an hour to finish them off. Yet, at least tomorrow they are prepared for their beef casserole for 100 people 😊
