Forking In A Weedy Wonderland

Very happy, will try to buy some bulbs on Saturday. Thanks for all your help and happy new year.
Lovely to head out on this morning's mission with Aliya, who was doing her first GG mission and Caroline, who was doing her second and accompanied by Charlie, who was meeting Matt for another mission nearby.
Arriving at Mrs J's we found that the team who had visited the week before had done a fabulous job, clearing and weeding the small garden. We had been hoping to plant some bulbs for Mrs J in the cleared area, but unfortunately she had been unable to get out in the week as the weather had been so dreadful and so we set about finishing the weeding and turning over the soil, with the small garden forks that we had brought along, so that now the area is super-ready for planting.
Having finished their own mission, Matt and Charlie came and found us so that we could all run back to Grounded on Gloucester Road, where we enjoyed a nice lunch and a chat before heading off on our separate ways.
A really nice way to see out our 2017 GG exploits - hoping for a lot more of the same for 2018!!
