First shift as a volunteer at NHS Nightingale Hospital, Excel Centre

Simon signed up as a medical staff sign-in volunteer with Team London (in collaboration with Goodgym) at the Nightingale Hospital based at the Excel Centre. His role involved setting up a information desk, marking down which Doctors, Nurses and Care Workers were starting their shifts and helping new starters to find the correct department (from a safe distance). We also distributed PPE and safety equipment to the medical staff as they attended their morning briefing (they helped themselves to avoid unnecessary contact).
