A return visit to Mrs J this morning in Stape ‘Lil as we both recalled that I’d been there on a hot and sunny day last year.

Settling for wet and thankfully a little less windy than the past few days have been, I was tasked with removing the bushes and clearing the leaves from Mrs J’s front garden, which represented a significant falls risk for her.

In clarifying exactly what to take out, she armed me with shovel, fork and shears and requested that I clear the lot - music to the ears of someone who struggles to determine what is or isn’t a weed!

90 minutes later the space was clear and the waste all bagged up, the rain had stopped and the breeze kindly pushed me back up the hill on my run back. 🌬
