It's been a while since I'd shopped for Mrs M, so we had a lot to catch up on during our socially distanced chat on her doorstep, before she then produced the trusty trolley and list and sent me on my way down the hill.

First stop though was the pharmacy at King's Cross to pick up her prescription medicine before a long overdue return to the familiar shelves of Tesco for pineapple, grapes, strawberries and enough other greens to happily tick the five a day box for about a week.

Mrs M was concerned that we might blow through the budget, but we both learned today that you can really fill a basket with fruit, veg and a whole load of other fresh items and still come in below £20...
