GG Brent stormed their way into July with: Newbies, Good-Deeding and an epic 12km run for good measure!!! We don't do anything by halves in this neck of the woods! So Gangsta.

One, two, three and to the four' Coach Ellie Wood and GoodGym are at the door Ready to make an entrance, so back on up 'Cause you know we 'bout to do some good stuff

Only Positive JUJU-LY Vibes this week at GG Brent this week, where we welcomed three glorious newbies into the fold: Nisha, Dimple and Nimesh. After the hubbub of first hellos, the smiles turned to looks of worry as I explained the evening ahead..... Just a little trip over to our old friends 3rd Wembley Scout GroupNot just a clever name, yes they are in fact based in Wembley,,,,,,DA DA DAAAAAA. But initial concerns were quickly dashed aside with Hannah, Dan and Andrea's positive encouragements and without further a do, the team set off!

My Garmin watch decided to make a return from the dead, coming back to life only to challenge the authority of Google Maps account of the 7mile journey. In order to maximise time at our task for the eve, the team split into 2 groups, with new coach runner Dan leading the old hats to get to the task first.

To my absolute delight, that meant Hannah and I got to to cruise with the fantastic newbie crew. Despite the challenge ahead, awesome chats and laughs got us to milestone one - The North Circular, our half way point and to the team's delight, we had already destroyed 3km!!

6Km later... We arrived at our destination, greeted by team 1, GG Brent veteran Sadhana and our host for the evening Jay, who, as always met us with massive smiles and beverages galore!!

Wasting no time at all we set to work on the weeding. With a host of gardening toys... I mean tools to play with and absolutely nooooooo Tom-Foolery going on (OK there was a lot of Tom-Foolery captured on video and watchable at the GG Brent Facebook page haaaaaaa) We attacked those pesky weeds with full force.

Finishing up and saying our fond farewells, we were on our feet once more, hot footing it back the only way we know how, amidst a haze of good vibes and positive energy surging through the ranks. Team one set off in front, while once more I sailed with my new recruits with heads down and determined grit.

Sooooooo proud I was to witness this epic effort, which can only be described as Gangsta and with the route split into 4 chapters, we fantastic four smashed apart the last leg (and our own) to make it back to base, completing a whopping 12km GoodGym Brent Monday. Amazing!!!!!

Stretches done and sighs of exhaustion.... I mean relief complete, a huge dose of congratulations was in order for all ,as the session came to a close.

Nothing makes me prouder than to experience real determination, zero negativity and only good vibes despite challenges ahead!!! That sums up an epic and fun fuelled night of Goodness, from my beloved GG Brent!!

Till next time......

DO GOOD. FEEL GOOD. INSPIRE......... and BE BADASS IN BRENT
