Eggsellent Day at City Harvest

A busy Saturday with lots of volunteers on hand to sort through the 3 incoming deliveries of pallets that arrived throughout my 4 hour shift. Many hands make light work right. I helped sort meats into different types and by use by dates. On the second and third deliveries I was on ready meals, deli and dairy. Lastly we sorted through the mountains of eggs and bread by use by date. It was a good workout and it really great to chat to the other volunteers.
