Its getting a bit cooler, and a bit darker. The cool makes the running easier, the dark makes it a bit more fun as we have to use lights and on this fine evening I had the Goodgym lantern. Unfortunately, having spent much of the last few months in my car boot, I didn't have a chance to charge it from the mains, but luckily, it has a wind up charging feature too, so we all had some fun converting our kinetic energy into light energy.

We welcomed Racheal for her first group run, and we had some more return who had only been once before - Sarah, Chris and Clair. Lot's of people are clearly settled into their new school year as well, as the numbers were well up.

We made our way to the allotment where we met Pam and Steve, and had plenty of tasks that involved moving things around. Pam did reassure us that we weren't just being asked to move stuff for something to do, but that as its a new plot, they were working out where things would go best.

Michelle project managed a team of 6 lifters to relocate the shed, and they successfully moved it, despite faltering belief.

Vanessa and Sarah were chief waterers with the pink flamingo watering cans, and there were various other digging and lifting tasks that everyone else got involved with.

As always, a task on the allotment is a lot of hard work, and a lot of fun. Its always really pleasing to see the transformation that can be made in just 30 minutes, and with 18 runners that's 9 hours of work with no break!

We made our way back to leisureworld for a quick stretch, which descended into some yoga poses. Everyone's favourite seems to be warrior 3 (well, maybe that's just my favourite).

I'm definitely inspired and would love to give it a go. I will feel more confident once I've sorted out my relentless knee issue. Thanks for your encouragement.

Thanks Ian. No treatment yet, I don't want to jump to the wrong (potentially expensive) options but I am prepared to invest time and money if there's a chance of improvement.
